The data on the composition and structure of the main groups of hydrobionts in the summer period were obtained. The report presents the results of the field studies of the Kaniv Reservoir and its floodplain, from the village of Stayky to the town of Rzhyshchiv. Specific empirical data obtained for the surveyed areas (SA) are presented across five blocks of biological indicators, as required for the implementation of the state monitoring of water bodies according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 758 of September 19, 2018. The study covered phytoplankton, phytobenthos, macrophytes, benthic invertebrates, and ichthyofauna. Additionally, in the absence of direct data on pollution levels from specific substances, results of the water and sediment toxicity assessment are provided. Hydromorphological and hydrochemical studies were conducted. Monitoring was carried out for the presence of plant and animal species within the area of planned activities, including species protected at the national and international levels (Red Book of Ukraine, species and habitats listed in the appendices of the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Bern Convention), etc.). The potential impact of the planned activities on flora, fauna (including ichthyofauna), biodiversity, protected areas, the Emerald Network, and ecological networks was assessed. The impact of the activities on the state of ichthyofauna and aquatic biocoenoses was evaluated, including the calculation of compensation measures. The turbidity plume was modeled, considering cumulative impacts, and appropriate mitigation measures to minimize negative effects during the planned activities were developed.
