The purpose of the work is to develop designs and technologies for manufacturing equipment for intensification of exploration and production of hydrocarbons and geothermal resources. Research methods are a systematic approach that combines the latest information technologies, classical mechanical and mathematical modeling, analytical and numerical methods, as well as experimental verification of the results obtained. As a result of analytical and numerical studies and rational design, models of frictional interaction of an open shell with an aggregate and a method for constructing a structural hysteresis loop of a shell damper were developed. The phenomenon of nonlinear change in the compliance of a shell damper depending on the length of the contact system "deformable filler - shell" was investigated and substantiated. It was proved that an extensive increase in the length of the contact pair is not an effective way to increase the compliance of the damper; the optimal length of the system should be determined during design. As a result, a design of a multi-section friction damper for drilling shock absorbers was developed, the optimal section length of which provides maximum compliance without compromising the bearing capacity. An important achievement was the confirmation of the hypothesis that changing the configuration of the shell section from vertical to helical leads to an increase in the stiffness of the damper. It was found that changing the friction coefficient in the contact pairs has a negligible effect on this effect, while increasing the dimensions of the damper enhances it. Based on experimental tests and optimization of technological processes for manufacturing shell-rod systems, a special torque transmission unit was developed based on a fourteen-lead non-self-braking screw pair, which transforms torque increments into axial Product Description popup.authors Burda Myroslav Yo.
