Based on the materials of field studies, the leading hydrological-morphological factors of hydroecosystems of urbanized water bodies (floodplain lakes and cascades of ponds), water bodies of power plants (thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power plants, pumped storage power plants) and transformed wetlands have been analyzed. The causes and consequences of anthropogenic violations of the ecological continuum in various types of water bodies have been established. Practical recommendations have been developed for the restoration of the hydromorphological continuum disrupted by the impact of military operations, in particular, for the restoration of the Kakhovka reservoir and the regulation of the operation of Dnieper hydroelectric power stations in its absence, and for the coordination of the operating mode of individual elements of the Dniester complex hydroelectric complex in order to reduce fluctuations in water levels in the transboundary section of the Dniester. The concept and methodological basis for research on the ecological continuum of three types have been developed: the continuum of indistinctness, gradient and metameric continuum. The analysis of the connection of fundamental ecological provisions regarding discreteness-continuity and integrity, ecological and physical fragmentation of ecosystems has been carried out. A significant addition to the concept of the ecological continuum is the introduction of the concepts of continuum and discontinuity in time. Some phenomena of the rupture of the successional continuum due to biotic factors have been analyzed (the phenomenon of contourization, change in succession due to the action of an aggressive) Product Description popup.authors Ivanova Nataliia O.
