The purpose of the first stage of the work is to develop tactical measures for the development of AIC according to the principles of the «green» economy. The methodological basis of the study was the conceptual principles of sustainable development and the «green» economy. A review of the European experience in the development of AIC was made and the role of «green» technologies in the modernization of this process was studied: the mainstream is the creation of «green» clusters, the development of «green» energy and the production of organic products. The energy potential of agricultural complex waste was assessed and recommendations were developed for its use to increase the sustainability of energy supply of enterprises. A review of the domestic organic market, which has great potential for growth under the conditions of the implementation of the European Green Deal, was conducted, and recommendations were developed for the development of the organic market in Ukraine and its compliance with European standards. A review of the bioenergy potential of energy crops for the production of various types of biofuels was conducted, an expanded classification of energy crops was proposed according to various characteristics, calculations were made to determine the theoretical, technical and economically feasible potential for the production of liquid biofuels in Ukraine. New knowledge was obtained regarding the modernization of machinery and equipment in AIC based on the energy-saving principle: the implementation of a microprocessor system for use as a subsystem of automated microclimate control of a greenhouse complex and the technical improvement of solar panels to reduce production costs and increase energy efficiency were substantiated; a schematic diagram of a biogas generating plant was developed.
