Basis for the work is research of technology of synthesis of liquid fuels from coal, peat, and other types of raw materials. To achieve the goal, a series of tests are planned using coal and lignite, peat and carbon-containing waste of various origins as raw materials. For the process of obtaining liquid hydrocarbons from synthesis gas according to Fischer-Tropsch process, it is planned to create metal-containing catalysts of a new generation. Determining optimal conditions for carrying out such a process in combination with optimization of solid carbon-containing raw materials gasification process will allow us to offer technological solutions for obtaining synthetic liquid motor fuel from coal, peat, solid bio-raw materials, solid household waste, etc. Proposed technological solutions make it possible to create not only technology of multiton production of motor fuel, but also small modular converters of solid carbon-containing raw materials into synthetic motor fuel for operation in field conditions. In order to obtain motor fuels from liquid bio-raw materials, catalysts for heterogeneous-catalytic processes of renewable biological raw materials destruction into components of motor fuel will be developed. Search and development of catalysts for the processes of cracking, hydrocracking and decarboxylation of plant chemical components of biological raw materials will be carried out. To improve quality of motor fuel, it is planned to develop new catalysts for hydrogenation and cracking process. Technology for obtaining mixed motor fuels based on biodiesel obtained by transesterification of fatty acid esters with ethanol will be proposed. In order to reduce cost of the process, ways of utilizing crude glycerol, which is a by-product of biodiesel synthesis, will be proposed. popup.description2 Purpose of the work: development of technical solutions and installations for the preparation of gaseous raw materials by gasification for the production of liquid fuel from local solid fuels with the determination of resources that are intended to be used for the generation of synthesis gas: brown coal, lignite, vegetable fuels and various wastes. Based on mathematical modeling, it is shown that the preparation of synthesis gas at the expense of the energy of the resources that are gasified can be ensured if air enriched with oxygen or pure oxygen is used as an oxidant with incomplete use of carbon of the starting material and the formation of coke residue. In the approximation of the thermodynamic equilibrium model, a series of studies were conducted that allowed determining the optimal temperature regimes and fuel/oxygen concentration ratios for regulating the indicators of gaseous gasification products. It was determined that operation in the 850...950°C mode allows obtaining synthesis gas with characteristics [H2]:[CO] close to 2:1, which is optimal for the developed process of synthesis of liquid hydrocarbons. A technological scheme for gasification of carbonaceous raw materials with air blast and air blast enriched with oxygen has been developed to ensure the generation of synthetic gas, the composition of which is optimal for the synthesis of liquid automotive fuels, as well as the generation of technical carbon. Equipment for the implementation of the proposed process has been developed, manufactured and tested. A methodology has been developed, equipment for removing CO2 from gaseous gasification products has been created and tested during experimental studies. Two technological solutions have been developed that allowed reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the gas: - using a special water-amine solution developed at the Gas Institute as an adsorbent; - with binding of СО2 with an aqueous solution of NaOH.
