The object of the study is the process of operation of electric vehicles in real operating conditions. The purpose of the work is mathematical modeling of electric energy consumption with an electric drive in real operating conditions. Research methods are the basic principles of the theory of the car, methods of statistical analysis, methods of functional analysis, methods of mathematical analysis, methods of mathematical modeling. Results and their novelty are the modeling of the driving cycle using Bezier curves; mathematical modeling of electric energy consumption by vehicles is performed; determination of electric energy consumption by vehicles in real operating conditions is performed; the required range of transport vehicles for real operating conditions is determined. Recommendations for the use of the results of the work are the results of the work can be used in scientific research of electric vehicles, planning of traffic routes, in the development and design of electric vehicles.
