A bioinformatics study of temperate erwiniophages 49 and 59 and lytic bacteriophage E105 was conducted. Phage 49 and 59 have the same genome size. Phage 49 and 59 show similarity in both the organization and nucleotide sequences of the genomes. The general architecture and synteny of genomes indicates that phages 49 and 59 belong to the group of lambdoid phages. Bacteriophage E105 of E. horticola belongs to lytic viruses. It lacks markers of ability to lysogeny. The genome of the lytic phage KEY of E. amylovora is 115,651 kb in size. Phage KEY belongs to the group of T5-like phages. The KEY phage together with the closely related AAS21 phage of P. agglomerans (92.2% identity) form a new genus within the Demerecviridae family. First it was shown, that the tissue transformation of willow with the "witch's broom" disease activates pseudolysogeny. Active particles of bacteriophages specific for P. agglomerans accumulate in affected plant tissues; all isolated phages belong to the B1 morphotype. Complete genome sequences of two strains of phytopathogenic bacteria P. carotovorum - Pcc ZM1 and Pcc RC5297 were obtained. The created collection of phages includes temperate phages 49 and 59, lytic phage E105 of E. horticola, T5-like phage KEY of E. amylovora, polyvalent phage FE44 and six new phages of P. agglomerans.  Product Description popup.authors Ahapov Andrii I.
