The assessment of their properties according to the specified criteria has shown that pipes with a diameter of 530-1420 mm made of steel of strength class up to K52, manufactured using simplified technology, which involves replacing multi-arc welding processes with single-arc, can be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of modern regulatory documents, for example, GOST 20295. Devices for electrochemical studies have been developed, electrochemical and corrosion indicators of steel in layers of solutions of different thickness and corrosivity have been determined. New data on the kinetics and mechanism of corrosion processes in thin layers from 100 to 5000 microns have been obtained. The features and mechanism of stress-corrosion cracking (SCC) of 10G2FB steel under thin-film corrosion conditions in environments of different corrosiveness in the standardized DSTU 4219 range of protective potentials have been established. SCC of welded joints made of 10G2FB steel, made by arc welding under flux OK10.74 with Sv-08GNMA and S3MoTiB wires in the standardized range of potentials in NS4 occurs along the base metal, which confirms the high ductile properties of the welds. The susceptibility to SCC in the NS4 solution of 10G2FB steel in different states (sheet, new pipe, pipe after 40 years of operation) has been assessed and some increase in it has been noted for the operated pipe. The features of hydrogen penetration into steel at a maximum protective potential of -1.050 V were noted, the hydrogen content is, respectively, 0.045, 0.0296, and 0.0241 mol/dm3. Proposals were developed for measures to increase the resistance to SCC of pipelines under conditions of long-term operation. A decrease in the impact toughness of the weld metal of welded joints made of steels 09G2S12, S355J2, S420NL, P355NL2 after artificial aging Product Description popup.authors Barvinko Andrii Yu.
