In accordance with the formulated goal, the following tasks were set for solution: - to analyze the features of the operation of high-pressure fire hoses, analyze the causes of their premature failure and determine the most characteristic damage, as well as analyze methods for increasing the safe operation of high-pressure fire hoses during fire extinguishing; - to analyze the factors affecting the safe operation of hoses during fire extinguishing, including high pressure, the effect of high temperatures on the hose material and the effect of aggressive environments; - to conduct an experimental determination of the mechanical properties of the material of the high-pressure fire hose to establish maximum loads under limiting conditions, i.e. rupture; - conduct experimental studies of the mechanical properties of high-pressure fire hose material during artificial aging; - develop recommendations for improving the safe functioning of high-pressure fire hoses during fire extinguishing. The object of the study is the influence of artificial aging on the mechanical properties of high-pressure fire hoses. The subject of the study is the characteristics of the stress-strain state of high-pressure fire hoses during artificial aging. Research methods - To achieve the goal and solve the tasks set, experimental research methods were used to determine the mechanical properties of high-pressure fire hose materials.
