The purpose of the work is to study the level of fire and explosion hazard of an oil refinery. Research methods are theoretical methods for assessing the probability of the formation of explosive gas-air mixtures, explosion, death of people, etc. As a result of the work, it was established: 1. The main danger from pipeline fires is associated with their thermal effect on neighboring equipment with the subsequent expansion of the scale of the accident. 2. In the event of accidents at the NK-70oS gasoline fraction isomerization unit, the length of the possible explosive zone can be 950 meters. 3. The probability of accidents at the unit is from 8.8 *10-6 to 8.3*10-11 (Release of a hazardous substance as a result of reactor depressurization). 4. The territorial risk outside the enterprises is slightly more than 10-7.
