When implementing multi-level modeling, attention was paid to the active formation of an independent technological direction associated with the creation of “core-shell” systems. The physicochemical mechanisms that cause nanostructure formation were investigated, and with the organization of appropriate metrological support, the identification of structures formed under the action of various factors was carried out. When generalizing the results of measurements and modeling the spatial organization, electronic structure, material formations of different composition and different length, routes of transformations and distribution of components between forms of existence, approaches to multi-level diagnostics of structural-functional self-organization of a number of complex practically important systems were formulated. A set of interactions of different nature was identified, which cause association, agglomeration and cluster formation and subsequently generate hierarchical structure formation. The decisive role of not only internal functionally related structure-forming factors, but also the structure-fixing influence of the reaction medium was noted. The main achievements of the project are the development of a technology for the synthesis of coordination compounds, intermetallics and compositions based on them, the comprehensive application of the results of research into the features of the structure of nanoparticles and the prediction of electrophysical, magnetic, thermal and mechanical properties.
