Purpose: to form an algorithm for determining the average cost of training students in art education institutions in the city for each speciality separately. Within the framework of the research work ‘Development of a methodology for determining the average cost of training in art schools in Kyiv for each speciality separately’ - work was carried out to update the regulatory framework governing the organisation of educational processes in art education institutions; - an analytical summary of the main statistical and financial indicators of the activities of municipal art education institutions in Kyiv in the academic year 2022/2023; - a differential analysis of the resource provision of one student of primary art education institutions of communal ownership of Kyiv was carried out; - a preliminary version of the algorithm for determining the average cost of education in art schools for each speciality separately; - recommendations on ways to further improve the algorithm for determining the cost of training students in the chosen speciality, taking into account the influence of factors that form the cost base of out-of-school art education institutions. The novelty of the research work is the development of an algorithm for determining the average cost of education in art schools for each speciality separately. The research results will ensure transparent and effective planning and use of the city budget funds allocated by the main administrator to ensure the educational process in municipal primary art education institutions.
