The feasibility of forming small distribution systems as microsystems with energy storage systems based on multifunctional bidirectional semiconductor converters has been substantiated, which allows integrating such microsystems into a centralized power supply system in order to ensure the conditions for the widespread use of renewable energy sources and prevent their possible negative impact on the modes of electrical networks. Simulation models of the specified small distribution systems have been developed and the calculations have shown that in networks with a significant number of renewable energy sources, when using powerful energy storage devices with developed bidirectional converters, a fairly rapid adaptation to changes in the balance of electrical energy is implemented, and standardized indicators of the quality of electricity are provided both in the parallel connection mode to the centralized network and in the autonomous mode. Methods have been developed for determining the limit levels of interference emission (harmonics and interharmonics of current, flicker and voltage fluctuations) from generating equipment with an installed capacity of more than 50 kVA and which is not subject to harmonized standards, compliance with which is necessary for connecting the specified equipment to the electrical network.
