The use of such devices both in clinical settings and field hospitals can fundamentally improve the quality of surgical operations. The significance of the research problem is due to the importance of the application area itself, which is soft tissue surgery. In this case, the equipment's characteristics determine the success of the treatment, directly affecting human life and health. The work aimed to develop the scientific basis for creating a new class of electronic devices for contact welding of soft biological tissues with a high portability and autonomous power supply. An analysis of modern approaches to the miniaturization of electronic devices has been conducted. Mathematical models of the primary units of contact welding devices for biological tissues and their load have been developed to study electromagnetic processes and optimize parameters. New modular topologies have been designed to implement the primary units of welding devices. The main characteristics of the hybrid autonomous power supply unit have been studied, and its optimal structure and topology have been determined. Recommendations for the effective design of portable electronic welding devices of soft biological tissues have been developed. The new scientifically substantiated results are essential for developing portable contact welding devices for soft biological tissues under autonomous power supply conditions. The results of the research work are used in the educational process of the Department of Electronic Devices and Systems and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
