During 2024, this process was characterised by important key events and achievements. In June 2024, the European Union officially launched negotiations with Ukraine on its accession to the EU. This step marks Ukraine's significant progress towards full membership. Ukraine has fulfilled the Association Agreement with the EU by 63%, implementing a significant part of European legislation and carrying out reforms in various spheres of public life. Ukraine has achieved a high level of integration with the EU in the energy, economic, transport, customs, and digital sectors, which contributes to deepening trade relations and economic growth. The sociological dimension is a crucial tool for assessing the effectiveness of an information and awareness campaign. The results of sociological research, through the study of public opinion, can provide insight not only into the level of knowledge about the goals and importance of European integration processes, the principles of the EU's activities and structure, and the attitude of the population towards the EU, but also identify the information needs of different social groups and the priority and effective forms of outreach to raise awareness of these issues. Monitoring of public opinion polls is an effective way to provide ‘feedback’ between the subjects and objects of an information campaign, which in turn helps to identify information needs and awareness levels to adjust the process of informing the public about Ukraine's European integration.
