It is planned to determine and investigate the characteristics of acoustic emission parameters in the process load and compare them with real damage. Relevance, social and the economic significance of the work is confirmed by the widespread use of AE diagnosing to control the most common and responsible in the operation of welds structures and objects, the destruction of which can lead to significant material and human losses and irreparable damage to the environment. popup.description2  The object of research is industrial structures of various purposes with features and limited access, including structures of nuclear power, equipment of petrochemical production, pipelines of various purposes with a long service life. The purpose of the work is to develop methodological approaches to the implementation of acoustic emission (AE) testing and continuous monitoring tools at research objects using the results of determining the characteristics of AE parameters during loading and comparing them with real damage. Research methods are experimental studies on specially designed specimens from a number of structural steels, intact and with operational experience, during their deformation using the AE method, studies of wave processes in materials and their relationship to destruction and damage; AE studies during testing and continuous monitoring of operating structures. The process of damage accumulation and development of destruction under static loading is studied. The relationship between these processes and the resulting AE is shown. Methods of registering AE signals for using zone location are improved. The scale correction coefficients for performing the destructive loading forecast have been determined. Changes have been made to the algorithms for evaluating the determination of diagnostic parameters for structures with a significant range of operating parameters. It has been shown that it is possible to conduct effective AE testing and obtain results suitable for predicting the destructive loading using zone location, the use of which allows, without dismantling the external casings, to solve the problems of assessing the condition of the surfaces of internal vessels inaccessible for testing and to identify the most dangerous areas. A draft instruction for conducting AE tests of hard-to-reach facilities and nuclear power facilities using zone location has been developed. Product Description popup.authors Boichuk Olha I.
