Head Vakerich Mykhailo M., Кандидат біологічних наук Registration Date 13-02-2025 Organization Uzhhorod National University State Higher Educational Institution popup.description1 The purpose of this scientific work is to study the influence of stress conditions on the genetic and physiological-biochemical mechanisms of adaptation of phytocenoses. popup.description2 The research highlights the ecological, agronomic, and physiological aspects of plant-environment interactions. The impact of heavy metals on plants has been identified, including their accumulation, toxicity, and natural defense mechanisms. The significance of calcium in increasing crop yields and plant resistance is described, along with the effects of water stress and mineral nutrition on nutrient absorption. It is demonstrated that optimizing mineral nutrition promotes plant adaptation to adverse conditions. The toxicity of high concentrations of zinc, copper, and other metals has been studied, as well as the protective role of selenium in mitigating stress effects. The influence of anthropogenic factors on soil microbial communities, plants' water retention capacity, and soil phytotoxicity has been determined. The necessity of ecological rehabilitation and the implementation of nature-based solutions to mitigate the consequences of war and adapt to climate change is emphasized  Product Description popup.authors Belchhazi Vira Y.
