Frantsevich, NAS OF Ukraine in order to attract additional funding for conducting scientific and research activities, developing research infrastructure and preserving the human resources potential of the institute. Monitoring of national and international competitions related to materials science topics was carried out (competitions of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, NATO, Hop On Facility of the WIDERA, COST work program). The participation of the institute's scientists in the competitions of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was analyzed. Recommendations were issued to improve the quality of applications for future competitions. The Institute of Materials Science of the NAS of Ukraine. introduced a system for recording applications submitted for grant funding competitions. The IX International Samsoniv Conference "MATERIALS SCIENCE OF REFRACTORY COMPOUNDS" (MSRC-2024) was held, May 27-30, 2024. A scientific and production seminar "Materials Science for Aircraft and Rocketry" was held, which contributed to the establishment of ties between scientists and representatives of the production sector. The pages of the Institute of Materials Science of the NAS of Ukraine were launched on social networks Facebook and LinkedIn. 20 applications for intellectual property objects were submitted to the State Organization "Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations", including 2 applications for inventions and 18 applications for utility models.
