Horalskyi, Доктор ветеринарних наук Registration Date 18-02-2025 Organization Polissya National University popup.description1 To find out the peculiarities of development, macro and microscopic structure of organs and tissues in normal, with pathology and under the influence of various environmental factors popup.description2  The aim of the study is to investigate the peculiarities of the morphological structure of the heart of domestic mammals in comparative species aspects. It has been established that morphotopography and morphoarchitectonics of the heart, its organ, histo- and cytometric parameters in domestic mammals have characteristic features of macro- and microscopic organization in accordance with the species characteristics of animals. The morphoarchitectonics and morphotopography of the heart in experimental animals are similar to each other, but have certain features: rabbit heart is oval in shape, located in the mediastinal space of the thoracic cavity, shifting to the left, the apex of the heart is smoothly rounded; dog heart is rounded, its dilated base is directed dorsocranially, the narrowed apex is ventrocaudally; pig heart is relatively large, ellipso-cone-shaped, its dilated base is directed dorsocranially and to the right, the pointed apex is ventrocaudally and to the left; sheep heart is cone-shaped, its base is craniodorsal, its apex is caudoventral; cattle heart is cone-shaped, its base is directed dorsally, its apex is ventral; horse heart is cone-shaped, its wide base is located at the level of the shoulder joint in the craniodorsal direction, the apex of the heart is directed caudoventral. The morphometry of absolute and relative sizes of the heart in domestic mammals and its chambers was studied. It was proved that the relative mass of the anatomical components of the heart - ventricles and atria in domestic mammals - is directly proportional to the body weight of the animals and the organ's AM and varies depending on the AM of the corresponding chambers of the organ and the heart's AM. The largest percentage is found in the left and right ventricles, and the smallest in the left and right atria.   Product Description popup.authors Sokulskyi Ihor M. popup.nrat_date 2025-02-18 Close
