The purpose of the research work is to create a mechanism for the lawful and, most importantly, the most reliable conduct of an examination to determine material damage caused to real estate objects due to the influence of non-operational factors. Research methods are general scientific methods (scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, logical grouping, comparison, generalization, comparison, etc.) and systemic and structural analysis of regulatory, theoretical and practical material. Theoretical and practical results - an algorithm for conducting examinations is provided regarding research on issues of determining the cost of restoring real estate objects that have been damaged and destroyed due to non-operational factors and determining material damage, theoretical and practical issues are outlined. Implementation effectiveness - the developed methodology will allow to more fully meet the needs of forensic experts in conducting research and reduce the time for conducting examinations.
