Purpose of the research - to assess the patentability of newly developed varieties-populations and varieties-polysynthetics in the final stages of the breeding process. Research methods - creation of source material by genetic recombinogenesis through simple crosses, as well as inbreeding and selection of hybrids of different origin based on index traits to exploit heterosis. Research results - 11 promising varieties with the parameters of programmable varieties were selected in the competitive test. Breeding accessions 502-504, 509-513, 515-517, 521 and 522 provided a significant increase in yield by 0.12-0.27 t/ha over the standard variety Ukrainka under unfavourable growing conditions in 2024. The breeding samples had an indeterminate type of development, were characterised by good insect attendance, medium (51-70 %) and amicable (71-90 %) fruit ripening, had a winged fruit type, high (10-14 %) resistance to fruit fall, habit lodging, drought, high and low temperatures, which indicates their high adaptive potential to adverse environmental factors.
