VESTIBULAR SCHWANOMAS, SURGICAL TREATMENT, RADIATION METHODS OF TREATMENT, MORPHOLOGICAL / IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDIES, LONG-TERM RESULTS OF TREATMENT, TESTS TO ASSESS THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS, DIAGNOSTIC ALGORITHM AND SELECTION OF THE OPTIMUM METHODS OF TREATMENT. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of existing surgical techniques for removal of vestibular schwannoma was carried out, taking into account long-term results. For the first time, the quality of life of patients before and after surgery was evaluated using validated scales such as PANQOL and the Mayo Clinic Vestibular Schwannoma Quality of Life Index. The technique of surgical access and removal of vestibular schwannoma has been improved with an emphasis on minimizing trauma to the surrounding structures. A method of closing the postoperative skull defect has been developed, which reduces the risk of postoperative complications and promotes faster rehabilitation. Key factors influencing long-term treatment outcomes, including reduction of complications and preservation of function, have been identified. The use of validated scales to assess the quality of life before and after surgery provides objectivity in determining the effectiveness of treatment tactics. Improved approaches to surgical access planning and skull defect closure can be implemented into clinical practice to optimize treatment outcomes. Product Description popup.authors Yehorov Mykola V.
