It was proved that duckweed is highly adaptive to various environmental pollutants and can be used for bioremediation of aquatic ecosystems. Changes in the proteome of flag leaves of winter bread wheat under the influence of temporary drought during flowering were analyzed. Changes in the flag leaf proteome of a drought-tolerant wheat variety were detected even before the onset of drought, indicating that plants are prepared for stress in advance. It was found that the tolerant variety Odeska 267 responded more flexibly to changes in irrigation compared to the sensitive variety Darunok Podillya. The promoter sequences of the stomatal biogenesis genes EPF1 and EPF2 were genotyped in three sets of samples (214 genotypes) of different wheat to detect polymorphisms. It was found that single nucleotide substitutions SNPs (A→G; A→C) in the promoter region of the EPF1 gene from subgenome A were most common. As a result of genotyping of winter bread wheat breeding lines, two lines with two loci of high molecular weight glutenins Glu-B1al and Glu-D1d were selected, which will exhibit high baking quality of flour.
