The possibility of reducing production costs due to the use of energy-saving methods of the technological cycle of corn production in the steppe zone: basic tillage, scientifically based selection of corn hybrids, balanced doses of mineral fertilizers and foliar micronutrient fertilization) has been identified. The parameters of a rational combination of energy-saving technological methods for increasing the realization of the potential of grain productivity during the cultivation of corn in the conditions of the Steppe of Ukraine have been developed.
