The administration of СeO2&C and enterosorbents will help to protect and restore bone marrow cells, normalise AlAT, AcAT, amylase and alkaline phosphatase, increase total protein and albumin levels, decrease urea concentration and increase LDH and glucose concentrations. In addition, the administration of СeO2&C suspension causes an increase in catalase activity in rat blood haemolysates by an average of 35.5% and a 2.7-fold decrease in the concentration of diene conjugates in blood plasma, while the content of malondialdehyde and the concentration of oxidatively modified proteins do not change significantly. The administration of СeO2&C suspension caused positive changes in the morphological and functional state of the heart, spleen, liver, kidneys and small intestine. It also promoted the destruction of tumour tissue, in which significant foci of necrosis with lymphoid cell infiltration, destroyed blood vessels, increased manifestations of cellular polymorphism, as well as the presence of significant areas of fibrous tissue formed at the site of tumour cell destruction were detected. Biochemical, haematological and cytofluorometric data, as well as the results of morphological and morphometric studies of internal organs and tumour tissues, showed that administration of carbon enterosorbents and a combined СeO2&C suspension is very effective and expedient for reducing the intensity of side effects of cisplatin-induced cytostatic disease in rats with Guerin's carcinoma.  Product Description popup.authors Herashchenko Bohdan I.
