The object of research is the educational process in educational institutions. Subject of research - theory and methods of teaching natural and technical disciplines, mathematics and economics, digital technologies in the context of digitalization of education. The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate, develop and experimental verification of the methodological system of teaching students of different levels and future teachers in mastering professional disciplines in a higher education institution in the context of digitalization and the use of STEM technologies. Theoretical and empirical methods were used to achieve the goal. Research objectives: 1. To consider and analyze the current state of teaching methods in natural and and technical disciplines, mathematics and economics, digital technologies in institutions of of different levels of education in the context of their digitalization. 2. Identify the main challenges that arise in the development of professional disciplines by these categories of students and future teachers in in connection with the rapid technological development and implementation of STEM technologies. 3. Develop a methodological training system that takes into account current trends in digitalization of education and the use of STEM technologies, and aimed at effective learning of material in academic subjects. 4. To conduct an experimental test of the developed methodological system for students of different levels and future teachers in higher education institutions. and future teachers in higher education institutions. To evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the developed methodological system in order to to improve the learning process and improve the quality of education in the context of of digital transformation.
