The purpose of the research is to solve the fundamental problem of physics and engineering of radiating systems - the synthesis of super-directional antennas. The mathematical support and algorithm for solving the problem of synthesizing antennas according to a complex directivity diagram given in analytical form have been developed. Based on the method of uniform geometric theory of diffraction and the superposition method in electrodynamics, the problem of diffraction of radiation of a resonant dipole antenna on perfectly conducting flat and angular screens of finite dimensions has been solved. The conditions for the formation of a directivity diagram of axisymmetric and sector shape by such antennas have been determined. The range properties of vibratory antennas with flat and angular screens when their dimensions change within wide limits have been studied. The distributions of electromagnetic fields in the near and intermediate zones of equidistant antenna arrays were calculated using the superposition method. The conditions for the formation of a searchlight beam by aperture antenna arrays of large electrical dimensions were studied. For the first time, anomalous phenomena of cascade formation of a searchlight beam and surges of the amplitude of electromagnetic fields outside the searchlight beam in the near zone of sparse aperture antenna arrays were discovered.
