Archaeological research in 2021 was carried out as the first stage of the general research program of the Yarychivka River valley within the Lviv and Zolochiv districts. The scope of the work included continuous explorations in a previously little-explored area of the river basin, covering the lower reaches of the river from its mouth to the confluence of the Mlynivka River, near the Mali Pidlisky village. The results of previous surveys of this territory, carried out by the SRC "Rescue Archaeological Service" of the Institute of Archaeology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2008-2013, were taken into account. The total number of monuments previously identified by these studies is 26. In 2021 re-survey, graphic recording and localization using the global positioning system were carried out. Information about archaeological monuments was collected in two ways. First of all, information in specialized literature sites was summarized. The second way was field surveys conducted in part of the Yarychivka River basin, mainly in its lower reaches. During the 2021 an area of about 62 km2 was surveyed within the the Lviv, Novoyavorivsk, and Murovane territorial communities of the Lviv district, as well as the Busk and Krasne territorial communities of the Zolochiv district, Lviv region. As a result of the research, was localized 26 known archaeological sites, and 66 new sites were discovered, including 61 settlements, 4 findspots of archaeological materials, and 1 burial mound.
