The obtained results should be presented in a scientific report. popup.description2  Report: 253 pp., 6 app., 52 figs., 62 photos Rescue monument protection works (archaeological excavations) were carried out at the Soposhyn-2 and Volya-Zhovtanetska-1 settlements. Archaeological supervision was carried out within the protected zones of 7 archaeological sites as the settlements of Soposhyn-1, Soposhyn-2, Blyshchyvody-4, Blyshchyvody-5, Blyshchyvody-6, Zibolky-1 and Volya-Zhovtanetska-1. Specialists in archaeozoology and numismatics were involved for laboratory processing of artifacts. The research sites are located within the Zhovkva and Kamyanka-Buzka territorial communities, Lviv district, Lviv region. An excavation area at the Soposhyn-2 settlement was 261,3 m2. In the cultural layer, molded vessels and flint artifacts of the Eneolithic, the Early Iron Age, the Kyivan Rus period (XI-XII centuries) were discovered, as well as a large number of finds from the XVIII-XIX centuries, including vessels, iron tools and coins. The research area at the settlement of Volya-Zhovtanetska-1 was 531 m2. A significant number of archaeological finds were recorded: molded vessels of the Early Iron Age, as well as objects associated with the farm previously located in this place (XIX – the first half of the XX centuries). 14 archaeological structures were discovered: 4 - household structures; 9 – pillar pits; 1 – technical pit. The area of archaeological supervision within all 7 monuments was about 27566 m2. The total area of diagnostic pits made during supervision was 19,7 m2. At the multilayer settlement Blyshchyvody-6 (Mesolithic, Chernyakhiv culture, Raykovets culture, Kyivan Rus period) the remains of an iron smelting furnace were discovered and fully investigated (with artifacts of the 9th-10th centuries).
