It has been proved that the method of quantitative determination by dehydration of polysaccharides to hydroxymethyl furfural followed by spectrophotometric measurement at 490 nm has a sensitivity of 60 μg/ml to 120 μg/ml and allows the introduction of a complex molar coefficient for the conversion of standard substances of monosaccharides (mannose and/or glucose) to acetylated aloe glucomannans into the formula. A standard operating procedure for the analysis of plant raw materials and prototype samples of the substance and ready-to-use form was created, which allows unifying the quality analysis in the laboratory and predicting the potential pharmacotherapeutic activity of prototypes, initial materials and plant raw materials at the initial stages of new drug development.
