This is caused to the use of outdated measuring instruments; to the difference between the actual operational use conditions and those taken into account during design; to the complexity of using data transmission technologies due to the necessary interfaces lack. The main goal of the work is improving the accuracy and reliability of natural gas metering. To achieve this goal it is proposed to use an integrated approach to the development of gas metering systems. The approach characteristic feature is additional control of natural gas parameters, such as pressure, temperature, gas composition and others. In the work carried out a review of measurement systems manufactured in Ukraine and an analysis of their performances. The features of possible operating conditions of gas metering systems have been determined.
