Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description1 The aim of this work is to reliably identify rare processes of double capture of electrons, determine the origin of variations in the rate of radioactive decay and determine the conditions for obtaining medical isotopes in nuclear reactions and significant energy output from particle collisions in a strong gravitational field. popup.description2 For the first time, the sought-after rare process of two-neutrino double capture of electrons from the K-shell of 124Хе was reliably identified at the level of statistical significance of 5.9 σ and the corresponding half-life period was determined. For 126Хе, the highest lifetime limit for this mode has been obtained to date. The significance of these results is related to their use for the search, in particular, the AMoRE collaboration, the neutrinoless 0νββ-decay, the existence of which is outside the Standard Model. At a high level of accuracy, the half-life of the α-active isotope 212Ро has been determined, however, the presence of temporal variations in its constant decay cannot be ruled out. A consistent approach to optimizing the conditions of photonuclear production of the radioisotope 99Мо, key for the needs of nuclear medicine, was found, which determines options for scaling it up on existing linear electron accelerators, primarily in Ukraine. Previously unknown features of energy processes near the horizon of black holes have been identified and theoretically described, which paves the way for a complete description of energy release processes from particle collisions in a strong gravitational field, unattainable in laboratory conditions.
