The theoretical and methodological foundation has been established through refinement of the conceptual framework and systematisation of categories in law enforcement and national economic security. The research included a thorough analysis of the administrative and legal status of law enforcement entities, with particular emphasis on the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine as an innovative institution. A systematic analysis of overlapping authorities between various law enforcement agencies was conducted, resulting in recommendations for optimising their functional responsibilities. For the first time, a comprehensive methodology has been developed to assess external and internal risks to the state's economic security and the effectiveness of law enforcement responses to these challenges. Based on international experience, innovative mechanisms for modernising the law enforcement system have been proposed, taking into account the specific requirements of economic security. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the development of an analytical brief for government agencies, providing clear regulation of law enforcement functions and powers, aimed at preventing corruption and improving operational efficiency. A key outcome was the development and submission to the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Concept for Reforming the Law Enforcement System under Current Conditions of Supervision and Control Transformation regarding Economic Security of Ukraine.
