The parameters of improving the agroecological state of ecosystems with the use of forest plantations on the floodplains of small rivers of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe have been established, namely: - a decrease in the biological activity of drained peatland by 35-45% compared to grass-field crop rotation, which corresponds to the activity of the soil under long-term grasses; - improvement of the water-physical properties of drained organogenic soils under the influence of forest-agrarian phytocenoses (a decrease in the density of the upper layer by 2-2.2 times, an increase in the total moisture capacity by 40%); marsh vegetation species are practically absent in cultivated areas (2-5%), while meadow grasses occupy 74-83% and slightly lower in areas with natural grassland and pastures (41%). Conversely, in areas where the process of re-boggarization is taking place, marsh vegetation species are restored and make up 31%, meadow-marsh vegetation accounts for 47%, and meadow cultivated grass species account for only 8%.
