Creation of a technological complex for researching the sterilization process using low-temperature plasma. Manufacturing on this basis an experimental sample of a low-temperature vacuum-plasma sterilizer that uses oxygen or a mixture of oxygen-based gases as a plasma-forming substance. Development of a physical-technological method of forming metal coatings using a magnetron sputtering system with specified bactericidal properties on the existing and, in the future, modernized universal vacuum-plasma technological complex. This complex allows for the development of coating technologies for rolled materials from fabric to polyethylene up to 600 mm wide. Creation of various industrial long-term fabric samples with metal coatings that have bactericidal properties, in a quantity sufficient for clinical trials and for further production of a batch of dressing material for practical use. For samples of modified materials, during the implementation of experiments on the creation of physical and technological methods of their formation, diagnostics of the processes of application of metals and alloys, as well as research on their bactericidal properties, will be carried out. The development of a dressing material that has an antibacterial effect stimulates the regeneration and granulation phase of damaged tissues, as well as a vacuum-plasma method of sterilization of a medical instrument with a pronounced antibacterial property. popup.description2  To conduct biological studies of the bactericidal properties of copper, a physical and technological process of vacuum-plasma creation of metal coatings with a layer thickness of 0.01 μm to 10 μm on the surface of fabric materials and synthetic films was developed. An innovative approach to solving the problem of antibiotic resistance has been implemented using the bactericidal properties of copper. Since the problem of antibiotic resistance is one of the most acute global challenges of modern medicine and biotechnology, the use of materials with antibacterial coatings is promising. Copper has been proposed and studied as such a coating on fabrics. It has been established that the bactericidal properties of copper applied to fabric significantly exceed such properties of traditionally used forms of copper in ionic chelate forms. This was established when studying the inhibition of the growth of hospital forms of bacteria Staphylococcus aureus 124 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa 18 in relation to copper. Medical bandages with different thicknesses of copper coating have been manufactured for further research under a new program of antibacterial action on laboratory animals. Methods of sterilization of medical instruments in magnetron and glow discharges have been investigated. Processing of instruments in magnetron and glow discharges has high bactericidal activity. Experimental sample of a medical instrument sterilizer has been created. The following research methods were used in the research: gas mass spectrometry; disk-diffusion method of model microbiological studies of the antibacterial activity of copper applied to tissue on bacterial cultures; scanning electron microscopy; magnetron sputtering of metals and alloys; ion-photon spectrometry; mass spectrometry of secondary ions.
