Project objectives: to determine the structure of mechanical systems that model resonant inertial vibration exciters and single- and multi-mass vibration machines operating on the Sommerfeld effect and the phenomenon of self-synchronization; to establish the most general properties of new mechanical systems, in particular, the type of possible steady-state modes of motion, to determine the range of problems whose solution is relevant for the design of vibration machines; to develop or improve methods for studying the dynamics of the specified systems; using the developed methods to study the dynamics of a number of mechanical systems, in particular single- and multi-mass, with circular and directional vibration exciters, with different kinematics of platform motion; to propose new technical solutions for the design of new vibration exciters and vibration machines, to develop technical recommendations for the design of new vibration machines; to develop a design and manufacture prototypes of a vibration stand and a vibration table of wide purpose and to conduct their testing. In the resonant mode of operation of a vibration machine, its vibration platforms perform intense vibrations with large amplitudes. This significantly increases the productivity of the vibration machine, reduces relative energy consumption. But there is a technical problem of maintaining the resonant mode of oscillations when changing the loads on the vibration platforms. The authors of the project have proposed new vibration exciters that solve this problem automatically and at the same time allow changing the amplitudes of vibrations during the operation of the vibration machine within wide limits.
