The object of the study is post-traumatic growth of the personality. The purpose of the work is to improve the methodological support of psychological work with servicemen – combatants at the stage of providing them with psychological assistance in the post-traumatic period. The work uses theoretical (generalization, comparison, abstraction, analysis, systematization), empirical research methods (observation, ascertaining experiment, psychological diagnostics), as well as methods of mathematical statistics. Psychological diagnostics were carried out using psychodiagnostic methods and questionnaires. Scientific novelty and degree of implementation of the main results of the research: - for the first time, the features of the emergence and manifestation of post-traumatic growth (PTG) in different categories of servicemen in the process of their military-professional activity were empirically determined; - for the first time, the concept of "post-traumatic growth" was conceptualized in the context of a full-scale war in Ukraine, its psychological content, mechanisms of development and causes of occurrence were theoretically substantiated; - scientific ideas about the phenomenon of PTG were significantly expanded in the context of its role in the formation of qualitative positive personal changes in servicemen in the post-traumatic period; - based on the results, indicators, criteria and methodological support for diagnosing PTG in different categories of servicemen were substantiated; - methodological recommendations were developed for diagnosing and promoting PTG in servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Such work is being carried out for the first time. During the implementation of the research, 1 methodological manual and 1 preprint were published.
