The purpose of the research and development (R&D) project is to identify and practically apply modern approaches and innovative technologies in the formation of professional language competence of higher education students; to determine the role and functions of language in the dialogue of cultures under the current conditions of information aggression; to identify the factors influencing the development of professional language communication culture. The main objective of the R&D project is to develop proposals for the creation and/or improvement of an effective environment for the formation of professional language competence of higher education students. The first stage of the research project serves as a foundation for further research, as it identifies the key areas requiring in-depth study and forms the methodological framework for achieving the set goals. The purpose of the first stage is to define the direction and methodology of the study, and to analyze existing materials and methodologies relevant to the R&D topic. To achieve this goal, the following key tasks are set: – to study general approaches to understanding professional language communication; – to analyze existing methodologies for developing effective professional language communication; – to identify effective ways of solving professional challenges and countering hostile informational influences through language-communication tools.
