The basis of state-building processes and socio-political development is the Ukrainian people's awareness of their identity. In the current circumstances, national identity is a key factor in national security, a value and semantic basis for resistance to Russian military aggression. The resistance of Ukrainian citizens to Russian military aggression has become the meaningful basis for social mobilization and unity of Ukrainians to repel the enemy. The level of social cohesion demonstrated that Ukrainians are aware of the value of the state, its territorial integrity, and the values of freedom and independence, and at the same time, are ready to defend these values in arms.
