The purpose of the work is to develop projects for degassing excavation sites and recommendations for ensuring the safety of mining operations in the mining and geological conditions of the «Yuvileyna» and «Stepova» mines of the PSU "Mine management Dniprovske" of PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining and geological and mining technical characteristics of excavation sites 146 and 148 of the C6 layer of the «Yuvileyna» mine, 188 of the C6 layer of the «Stepova» mine of the SU «Mine management «Pershotravenske» of PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya" were analyzed. The expected methane release within the excavation sections, air consumption for their ventilation, drilling parameters of degassing wells and required diameters of degassing gas pipelines were calculated. Projects for degassing excavation sections 146 and 148 of the C6 layer of the «Yuvileyna» mine, 188 of the C6 layer of the «Stepova» mine of the SU «Mine management «Pershotravenske» of PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya" were developed. Recommendations were developed for ensuring dust and gas safety during the dead-end mining of the «Stepova» and «Yuvileyna» mines.
