The purpose of the work is to develop technical solutions for the safe mining of coal seams according to the gas factor in the mining and geological conditions of the Dniprovska mine, PSU "Mine management Dniprovske" PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining and geological and mining characteristics of the excavation sections of 1182 lava and dead-end workings of the «Dniprovska» mine, PSU "Mine management Dniprovske" PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya". The expected methane release within the excavation area, air consumption for its ventilation were calculated, measures were developed to manage the excavation area degassing system during fires in mining operations. The “Project for degassing excavation area 1182 of the C10v layer” of the «Dniprovska» mine were developed. Recommendations were developed to ensure dust and gas safety during dead-end excavations of the «Dniprovska» mine. The calculation of the permissible dust level by the critical dust load factor was performed and acts establishing technically achievable levels of residual dust in the air of the mining operations of the «Dniprovska» mine were agreed upon.
