The purpose of the work is to develop technical solutions for the safe mining of coal seams according to the gas factor in the mining and geological conditions of the mines "Ternivska", "Zahidno-Donbaska" of the PSU "Mine Management Ternivske" of PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining and geological and mining characteristics of the mining areas of the mines "Ternivska" and "Zahidno-Donbaska" of the PSU "Mine Management Ternivske" of PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya" were analyzed. The expected methane release within the excavation areas, air consumption for ventilation of treatment works and excavation areas, drilling parameters of degassing wells were calculated. Measures were developed to manage the degassing system of excavation areas during fires in mining operations. Projects were developed for degassing excavation areas of 502 beds of the C5 layer, 871, 889 and 1047 beds of the C8n layer of the «Zakhidno-Donbaska» mine of the PSU «Mine Management Ternivske» of PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya". The projects for isolated methane removal from the mined spaces of the excavation sections 850, 871, 889 and 1047 of the S8n layer, the «Zakhidno-Donbaska» mine, of PSU "Mine Management Ternivske" PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya" have been verified and approved. "Recommendations on ensuring dust and gas safety during work on dead-end workings and during the development of excavation sections of the «Ternivska» and «Zakhidno-Donbaska» mines, of PSU "Mine Management Ternivske" PJSC "DFEС Pavlohradvuhillya" have been developed.
