The object of the study is accounting and tax mechanisms for formalizing the activities of private entrepreneurship under the conditions of the institutional challenges of modernity. Accounting and tax support for private entrepreneurship is developed by substantiating the technology of accounting and reporting on economic activity according to taxation models, forming a system of business process administration, and creating and using entrepreneurial capital in the conditions of the digital economy. The proposed scientific and methodological recommendations and models are fundamentally different from the known ones in that they are based on the principles of digital administration of entrepreneurial activity and provide for the consideration of the processes of development of entrepreneurial potential. When conducting the study, the methods of accounting and tax formalization, logical generalization, synthesis, analysis, comparison and decomposition were used - to determine the essence of entrepreneurial capital as an accounting and tax category, graphic data processing methods - to build schemes, graphs, diagrams. The results of the study were implemented in the activities of the PMP "Techbud" (Khmelnytskyi) and the educational process of KhNU. Forecast assumptions regarding the development of the research object - it is planned to develop conceptual principles and scientific and practical recommendations for building accounting and tax support for the formation and implementation of entrepreneurial capital in the dimensions of the concept of sustainable development, which will allow increasing the value of business and its financial security as a determining factor in the sustainable development of the economy.
