The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal concentration of CNTs in polymer composite materials, based on the “semiconductor” model of the dependence of the IR absorption peaks of these materials on the concentration of CNTs developed by us to increase the strength of the structure and reduce degradation. The novelty lies in the analysis of the measured IR absorption spectra of composites with different contents of CNTs and in establishing the dependence of IR absorption on the content of CNTs in the composite. Based on this, a “semiconductor” model of the description of the “polymer – CNTs” system was developed, which allows determining the optimal concentration of nanotubes of 0.25 wt.%, at which the maximum level of crystallization of composites is realized to increase their strength. The scope of application of the obtained materials may be related to the production of new ultra-strong composite materials, namely, resistant coatings for semiconductor devices, as well as individual strong parts for prosthetics in medicine, and moving parts in the automotive and aviation industries.
