Object of the Study: Social relations arising in the process of investigating criminal offenses provided for in Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Subject of the Study: Investigation of embezzlement, misappropriation, or seizure of property through abuse of office committed under martial law. Methodological Basis: The research is grounded in a set of various scientific methods, including the study and analysis of academic literature and other relevant sources, including data from publicly accessible state registers, pertaining to the topic of the study. Within the research, the following was conducted: analysis of the state of regulatory and scientific-methodological support for investigating embezzlement, misappropriation, or seizure of property through abuse of office committed under martial law; examination of domestic experience and best practices in investigating such offenses during martial law; identification of problematic issues related to the investigation of these offenses; determination of effective approaches to conducting investigations of embezzlement, misappropriation, or unlawful seizure of property committed under conditions of martial law.
