Effective analytical and numerical methods for solving contact problems of thermal conductivity, theory of elasticity and thermo-elasticity for structures with depressions, protrusions, rough surfaces, reinforcing coatings and cracks have been developed, taking into account surface thermal conductivity and frictional phenomena. Temperature fields and stresses in homogeneous and bimaterial bodies are studied, taking into account the longitudinal thermal conductivity of cracks. The influence of the characteristics of a thin plate coating on the contact stresses and the contact area of finite and infinite bodies was studied. The ultimate shape of bodies with depressions due to micro-slip and fretting wear and bodies with initially flat surfaces was studied, taking into account the variable coefficient of friction and frictional heat generation. The results of the investigations are important for geophysics, aircraft and engineering industries, biomechanics, tribology and energetics. Product Description popup.authors Kozаchok Oleh P.
