These media have photovoltaic properties and the type of their photoconductivity and the sign of the photovoltaic response can be controlled by changing the excitation light wavelength. The nature of the post-holographic recording (PHR) effect, which was detected in these HRM, was investigated. It is shown that under the polarization recording conditions in such HRM it is possible to control the nature of the formed diffraction grating - from a purely polarization one (practically without surface topology) to a grating, the formation of which occurs mainly due to the geometric HRM film surface relief formation, depending on the recording mode. Based on azothiazole-containing methacrylic copolymers the novel efficient photoconductive HRM for polarization holography with the PHR-effect and with controlled formed grating character (by copolymers composition and microtacticity change) have been developed. New multi-controlled photochromic merocyanine- and squaraine-containing oligomeric HRM with electro-controlled spectral range of photosensitivity have been created.
