It has been noted that in response to the therapeutic effect on choroidal melanoma of different methods of organ-preserving treatment, a different immune response of the patient is noted, which is statistically significantly higher when transpupillary thermotherapy and its combination with betha-therapy are performed. It has been established that the type of treatment (cryodestruction and radiocryosurgery) of malignant conjunctival tumors does not affect the recurrence of the tumor process in either melanoma or carcinoma. However, in melanoma, the effectiveness of cryodestruction is 1.6 times lower than in carcinoma.
