Background. Unfavorable perinatal factors can reduce the adaptive capacity of newborns and can contribute to the formation of certain pathological conditions and diseases in children of the first three years of life. To date, the relationship between adverse perinatal factors and immunological parameters and morbidity in children has not been sufficiently studied. Aim: to determine the significance and direction of the influence of adverse perinatal factors on the formation of pathological conditions in newborns and children of the first three years of life. Materials and methods. We examined 122 women in labor aged 16-44 years and 122 children born to them in the central city hospitals of mm. There were more girls (54.9%) than boys (45.1%) among newborns in 2020-2022. Children born at full term (64.8%) outnumbered those born preterm (35.2%). To assess the condition of mothers, anamnestic and general clinical examination was used. The immune indicators, biochemical markers of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD), electrolytes, echocardiography and thymus sonometry were studied. Results. A significant correlation between biosocial, obstetric-gynecological and clinical indicators in women in labor and the health status of children during the first three years of life was found. The association of changes in immunological parameters with markers of UCTD in mothers and their children was revealed. Conclusions. A number of significant antenatal and/or perinatal factors that are prognostically unfavorable for the health status of children from birth to 3 years of age were identified. Keywords: newborns, children of the first three years of life, adverse perinatal factors, adaptation, UCTD, recurrent respiratory infections, immunity.
