The preliminary identification revealed that Xanthomonas arboricola pv. juglandis was detected in 70% of the studied regions, Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae in 29% and Agrobacterium tumefaciens in 1%. 2.The range of potential host plants for newly isolated pathogens was determined by artificial infection. For isolates from walnut, carrot pieces and Kalanchoe leaves were infected, which determined the relationship of a number of strains to the genus Agrobacterium; and on tobacco leaves, there was an RNase characteristic of bacteria of the genus Pseudomonas; the manifestation of symptoms during artificial infection of walnut trees and horse beans - related some strains to representatives of the genus Xanthomonas. For three pathogenic strains from eustoma, infection of eustoma and kermek notched was carried out. Two strains showed high virulence to both plants, which indirectly confirms their preliminary identification as Burkholderia caryophylli. The third strain showed medium aggressiveness to eustoma and low aggressiveness to notched kermek. 3.According to the results of determining the fatty acid (f.a.) composition of cellular lipids, it was found that: 1) f.a. spectra of bacterial strains isolated from walnut are similar to the typical and 11 collection strains of A. tumefaciens, 3 collection strains of X. arboricola pv. juglandis and the type strain of P. syringae pv. syringae; 2) the f.a. spectrum confirms the affinity of two strains to representatives of the genus Burkholderia and the affinity of the third strain to B. gladioli or Pseudomonas fluorescens is being determined in comparison with the literature data.
